More about this digital file
Description
The crane is a symbol of happiness and eternal youth and this magnificent pair, have been captured forever in thread.
Stitched with lustrous rayon threads and the heavily textured stitches that are typical of Brazilian embroidery, the birds, surround flowers and foliage are worked onto a royal blue background. Varying weights and the highly reflective thread surface emphasise these unique stitch techniques.
