Description
The starling can be found in countries all around the world and its plumage varies from the dark, muted iridescence of the common starling to the vibrant, glowing colours of Hildebrandt’s starling. Stunning as many of them are, none is quite as spectacular as this splendid fellow, resplendent in his floral feathers, striped stockings and ornate head wear. Stitched with wool, cotton and metallic threads onto a heavy cotton ground, this stylish avian boasts a golden lattice on his breast and glowing pearls around the base of his dazzling crown.
