Description
Step back in time to 15th century Italy and an extraordinary age in art and architecture, where every detail was carefully considered and beautifully executed.
Embroideries reflected the style of the time and the design for this mat was inspired by wonderful floor tile patterns, alternating dark and light marble and flower shapes bordered with fine strips.
Equally at home in the 21st century, this superbly textured design is stitched onto 25-count ecru linen with two weights of perlé cotton thread.
