Huck Tea Towel - White
View ProductDescription
Swedish weaving or huck embroidery is thought to date back as far as the seventeenth century and the Scandinavian immigrants who moved to the United States during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries brought this simple but effective method of decorating cloth with them to their new home.
Originally worked on huckaback, the geometric designs can be worked on a number of different fabrics and are usually stitched with cotton perlé, making this a satisfyingly quick and easy way to add a special touch to a hand or tea towel.
