More about this digital file
Description
After a long, cold winter, the arrival of the first spring flowers is a welcome delight and the daffodil always seems to be amongst the first to appear, its distinctive form and vibrant colour making it hard to miss.
Accompanied here by a dainty primrose and striking, chequered fritillary, this spectacular goldwork piece is masterfully created using a variety of gilt and silver-plated metal purls.
Stitched onto silk organza, each petal and leaf is individually worked before being cut out and assembled into this stunning brooch.
