Description
Considered a national symbol of Kenya, the rare and very beautiful Lilac-breasted Roller frequents the woodland and savanna of its native Africa.
The unusual and striking colours of its plumage are depicted here using seventy shades of cotton and silk thread, producing an incredibly realistic portrait of this stunning bird.
