Description
Serving as a significant symbol in Chinese culture, the Cymbidium orchid has been associated with principled, moral gentlemen of talent and integrity since the time of the philosopher Confucius (551– 479BC).
Over the centuries, Chinese literary and philosophical works have also attributed the virtues of friendship, loyalty and patriotism to the orchid.
