More about this digital file
Description
The teardrop shaped boteh, or paisley, is a beautiful and enduring motif of Persian origins and provides a perfect subject for this exquisite piece of or nué embroidery.
Stitching in a spiral from the centre of the large flower, gold passing thread is couched with varying shades of stranded cotton to create the design, allowing the subtle sparkle of the gold to shine through, even in the most densely stitched areas.
