More about this digital file
Description
Botanical studies are designed to portray flowers in their true form, to give insight into the incredible intricacies of nature and capture the transient beauty of the subject matter.
Working from a painting by Rachel Pedder-Smith, Trish has re-created every stem, petal and calyx with stitches onto a pristine white linen background, the flowers accompanied by a white-tailed bumble bee and a stunning monarch butterfly.
