Description
Inspired by a popular Morris design of thrushes feeding on strawberries, this delightful crewel work image is stitched with a muted palette of rose pink, grey-green, peacock blue, honeysuckle yellow, mauve and biscuit brown wool threads onto an antique white twill ground, ably demonstrating the graceful, flowing lines and sublime colouring that characterise Morris’s designs.
