More about this digital file
Description
A garland of pretty blue periwinkles creates a delightful frame for a plump brown hen and her sweet yellow chicks.
Stumpwork techniques are cleverly combined with surface and raised embroidery to bring this charming little family to life on a background of olive-green print cotton.
Stranded silk and cotton threads are used to stitch both designs and tiny glass beads add sparkle to the flowers on the framed embroidery and around the edge of the needlebook.
