Description
What a pleasure it is to find a ladybird in the garden, her glossy red elytra studded with coal black spots, busily feeding on aphids and other small insects.
Trish has accurately captured every aspect of this astonishing insect in this superb study.
Worked with stranded cotton threads onto fine white linen, the brilliant colour and appealing form of this tiny insect make it a welcome guest in every garden.
