Description
This portrait of a Persian cat is titled Lady in acknowledgement of the dignified and striking characteristics of the breed that has been described as, commanding an air of royalty. A wonderful study in how to create lifelike long-haired animals and capture their distinctive characteristics in stitch.
SPECIAL NOTE | Instructions for this project are included in the book ‘The Art of Chinese Embroidery 2 | Intermediate Level’, however some prior knowledge is assumed based on techniques presented in ‘The Art of Chinese Embroidery 1 | Foundation Level’, therefore depending on your familiarity with Chinese Embroidery, both books may be required for reference.
