Description
With 24,000 species of native plants, Australia is home to a unique and unusual variety of flowers and this stumpwork study of three colourful examples is a wonderful introduction.
Stitched with gleaming silk threads onto a background of olive green silk dupion, the stunning colours and intriguing flower forms are brought to life with a clever combination of detached elements and surface embroidery.
