Description
The embroidery depicts a Eurasian red squirrel sitting on a moss-covered tree stump.
The tree stump on which he sits provides an interesting study and provides a challenge in recreating the colours and textures.
Stitched using over 40 different shades of filament silks onto a piece of ivory silk taffeta fabric, this design is based on a photograph by Vince Burton, used under license.
