Description
Beginning with a painted background, layers of thread ‘grass’ are worked in straight stitch to build up a textured surface.
Using Jo’s meadow as a guide, seed heads and tiny flowers are added using a variety of stitches and subtle colours to complete the embroidery.
If you have always wanted to design your own embroidery but been afraid to try then this is the perfect place to start!
