Description
In the cool depths of the forest there are many treasures to be found if you take the time to look carefully.
Mushrooms, with smooth golden caps and frilly cream petticoats, rise on ivory stalks amongst the tangled stalks of grass.
The lush green foliage of wild blackberries surrounds the gleaming, jewel-like clusters of luscious fruit, waiting for a sharp-eyed bird to snatch the juicy globes away.
Worked in surface embroidery, needlelace and stumpwork on a background of silk, these fragile treasures are artfully captured with needle and thread.
