Description

To help capture this petite playful bird in the most realistic form possible, the design has been created using a painting by British wildlife artist, Paul Hopkinson. Incorporating an analogous colour scheme to highlight the unique features of this distinctive bird, the project is stitched using Random Stitch Embroidery to achieve lifelike resemblance.

SPECIAL NOTE | Instructions for this project are included in the book ‘The Art of Chinese Embroidery 2 | Intermediate Level’, however some prior knowledge is assumed based on techniques presented in ‘The Art of Chinese Embroidery 1 | Foundation Level’, therefore depending on your familiarity with Chinese Embroidery, both books may be required for reference.
