Description
Explore the delicate beauty of the common dandelion and vibrant buttercup while stitching this superb study.
Considered weeds by many, both plants are herbs with medicinal qualities and feature bright yellow flowers with the dandelion bloom developing into an ethereal seedhead, much loved by children.
Stitched onto ivory satin with silk, cotton and viscose threads, and utilising surface embroidery and stumpwork techniques, they are accompanied here by a pretty blue butterfly.
