Description
Sequins, beads and an array of embroidery stitches are used to create this spectacular hooped study of the colourfully crested Major Mitchell’s cockatoo.
Worked onto a cotton ground with stranded cotton threads, the bird is filled with areas of stitching that cleverly create interest and a variety of textures, and are further embellished with a selection of sparkling sequins and glass beads.
