Description
As dazzling as the most precious jewel, this spectacular study of a bullfinch is worked in stranded silk and a selection of superb metal threads onto a candy pink silk background.
Resting on a glittering golden swing, the finch is decorated in ornately patterned sections utilising threads and beads to create a lavish surface.
Contrasting with the body, the tail plumes are couched in place with subtle chevrons, echoing the lines of the feathers.
