Description
Fragrancing linens with sweet smelling petals is an age-old practice and dainty sachets, filled with lavender or rose petals, are still a welcome addition to a bedroom closet or traveller’s suitcase.
Perlé cottons and natural linen are used to work this pretty, sampler sachet, alternating withdrawn thread techniques that increase in complexity, and panels of surface embroidery.
Smyrna cross stitch forms a delicate border and the sachet is finished with ladder hem stitch.
