Paris + Au Ver à Soie = A Very Special Day!

It’s not every day you get to visit one of the most beautiful cities in the world. And it’s not every day you get to visit the manufacturer of some of the most beautiful threads in the world.

When you combine both in one day… well that makes for a pretty special day!

And so it was that our very own Willow Fry from the Inspirations office, whom many of you may have spoken to on the phone or corresponded with via email, took time out of her recent European holiday to visit the Au Ver à Soie office in Paris.

While their office is not a retail store and unfortunately not set up for customers to come and visit, thanks to the super kind hospitality of Nathalie Boucher-Bothorel, a fifth generation family owner, Willow was able to stop by and say hello.

Over the years Inspirations has enjoyed a special relationship with Au Ver à Soie as we’ve supported each other as kindred spirits in evangelising the beauty and wonder of embroidery together.
