DMC Eco Vita Wool Threads
18TH OCTOBER 2024 - ASU #449
Are you an early adopter? Or someone who likes to sit back and wait to see what happens before getting involved?
While we don’t have any statistics to back this up, our guess is there would be at least half of us who are ‘sit back and waiters’.
If you’ve been sitting back and waiting to see what DMC’s new range of wool threads is all about, now is probably a safe time to jump on in.
Having been in the market now for 18 months, the verdict is they’re actually really nice wool threads, easy to work with and definitely worth adding to your stash.
Eco Vita, which translated into English essentially means Natural Life, is DMC’s range of organic crewel wool embroidery threads made in Italy.
As the dyes they have used are all natural, the result is a range of beautiful rich colours in a vintage palette that, while not variegated, do have a distinct heathered appearance.
To make it even more tempting to try their new range, DMC has released a limited-edition collector’s box featuring 30 shades of Eco Vita.
DMC have even produced a cool little video about the new range, which you can view HERE.
We’ve included a lot more detail about the collector’s box on our product page, so check it out using the link below and now that the sitting back, waiting and seeing is over, we can get on with stitching something fabulous using DMC Eco Vita wool!
