Make it Easy with Elbesee Hoop Clamps

For us, it all started with the Twizzler. An ingenious easy-to-grip tool that allows you to tighten wingnuts with ease.

From there we had to find out more… who are Elbesee (pronounced el-beasy) and what other wonderous products do they have available?

Here’s the back story – like many of the best needlework products in the world, Elbesee is a family-run business. They have been manufacturing wood and engineering plastics for over 65 years and are based in the UK.

To share the love, this week we’ve added these two new products to our website.

Elbesee Versatile Table Clamp

At one end of the stem, you have a robust multi-purpose plastic clamp. This clamp can hold any hoop up to 30cm (12″) in diameter or a rotating frame up to 30cm x 22cm (12″ x 9″). It’s even suitable to hold stretcher bar frames.

At the other end of the stem is a wooden clamp you affix to any table not exceeding 3.5cm (1 3/8″) in depth.

We’ve found this clamp super easy to use, made from quality and durable materials and we love the metal wing nut, as when you use the Twizzler to tighten it, you get an incredibly strong grip on the hoop or frame. And most will agree, when it comes to table clamps, tightness is king. 

Also, it’s very portable – just make sure the table you’re planning to use it on is not any deeper than 3.5cm (1 3/8″).

Elbesee Versatile Clamp Kit

With the clamp kit, it’s the same product only with just the stem and the hoop clamp and not the table clamp. This makes it perfect for anyone who already has an Elbesee seat, table clamp or ring floor stand, as you slot this straight in and can use whichever hoop or frame you like.
